History
The Center for Work and Family was created over three years ago with startup funds from the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Through our collaborative and leadership efforts, we began the work of developing, coordinating and implementing Center for Work and Family. The Center was designed with input and assistance from families who live in the Westside of San Antonio.
Services We Offer
The Center for Work & Family provides one-stop access to core areas that we have identified as Financial and Home Ownership Services, Job Training and Placement, Work and Income Support, and Free Tax Preparation & Assistance. For example, families will be able to access public benefits such as Food Stamps, TANF, Children's Medicaid and CHIP, receive job training provided by one of our Workforce Partners, free on-site tax preparation and help with other IRS matters, homeownership counseling, credit repair/counseling, Individual Development Account qualification and application, and other trusted and high quality services.
